David Hay, a New York-based playwright who once lived in a house designed by Richard Neutra has always been interested in how architects design homes that promote easy and comfortable social interaction. David Chipperfield is the British architect who founded David Chipperfield Architects in 1984. He studied architecture at Kingston Polytechnic in London, United Kingdom.

Perhaps the most prominent contemporary architect of African descent--he was born in Tanzania, where his father was a Ghanaian diplomat--Adjaye (1966- ) studied at the Royal College of Art in London. He founded Adjaye Architects in 1994 and has since gone on to design a number of influential houses in the UK, the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, and is set to design several branch libraries in Washington DC.

David Irwin is a Northern Irish designer who established his own industrial design studio in 2011, covering furniture, products, and lighting. The majority of his work is focused in material exploration with designs incorporating aluminum, wood, textiles, and steel. Concept and fundamental usefulness are at the root of the pieces, explaining the choice of the chair as a prominent object.

David Fabio Geckeler is an industrial designer based in Berlin and completed his studies in Industrial Design at the University of Arts in Berlin in 2012. Currently he is working on several projects for international clients and his work will be exhibited on fairs and in galleries as Geckeler is starting his young career. His interest is in the wider area of industrial design, focused on furniture, interior, tableware, and lighting.
