Adriano Stavole, a pilot captain based in Cleveland, Ohio, expertly applies his vast flight training and practical experience to achieve airline operational goals and fulfill corporate objectives. His aviation career launched at NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia, where he significantly contributed to developing the proposed Small Aircraft Transportation Systems (SATS). Accumulating over 5000 flight hours, Adriano's expertise is marked by deep dedication and precision.
At Ohio University, he served as a certified flight instructor, playing a crucial role in shaping the futures of numerous aviation students. His teaching covered extensive ground, including multi-engine airplane training under CFR part 141, equipping students for a variety of piloting licenses.
Adriano's passion also extends to the air ambulance sector, where he has been instrumental in saving lives. As Pilot In Command (PIC), he led numerous critical missions, adeptly navigating through challenging weather conditions and managing complex flight paths to transport critically ill or injured patients and vital organs.
Certified as a commercial pilot, a certified flight instructor, and an airline transport pilot, Adriano possesses an Instrument Rating (IR) and a Multi-engine Rating. His certifications enable him to operate a broad range of aircraft, including jets and high-performance planes like the CE560XL, LJ31, and BE40.
Raised in the culturally vibrant Little Italy neighborhood on Cleveland's West Side, Adriano grew up in an environment rich with Italian heritage and strong community values. He was actively involved in sports, academics, and community activities, which shaped his teamwork and leadership skills. His pursuit of excellence continued through his schooling at St. Edward High School and later at Ohio University, where he completed dual degrees in Aeronautics and Business Aviation Management.
Adriano began his professional journey as a First Officer at CommutAir, conducting commercial flights for Continental Airlines, before his dedication to helping others led him to a career in air ambulance services. Over fifteen years, he served at AirMed International and Aitheras Aviation Group, eventually rising to the rank of Captain, where he was responsible for overseeing patient logistics and flight operations.
In 2019, Adriano was honored with the Pilot Award of Excellence, which recognized his commitment to aviation safety and exemplary handling of emergency situations.
Adriano Stavole now resides with his family in Broadview Heights, Ohio. He remains an active community member and pursues his passion for outdoor activities, including sailing, mountain biking, and kayaking. He continuously demonstrates his zest for life and adventure.
