Astrid Lindo is a Colombian born artist and was formally trained as an interior designer at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She holds Certificates in Green Building and Permaculture and received her LEED accreditation in 2006. Having launched Astrid Design in 2008, Astrid has been working directly with her clients to create beautiful spaces. Astrid hones her talent in being able to intuitively curate and design interiors that highlight her client's innate sensibilities. Astrid's 17 years in the industry and her constant thirst for knowledge in all cutting-edge technologies and practices, enriches her as a designer and writer. These elements provide an understanding and application of the nuances that distinguish her in her trade. Her distinctive competence and inspiration lies in her fluency in Spanish and her training in Spain, Italy, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami Beach. Her broad education, experience and travels have provided her with a profound understanding of culture and aesthetic, facilitating an innate capacity in interior and lifestyle design. In 2012, Astrid was chosen as one of ten Influential Women in Cleantech: Top 10 Women of Sustainability. With education being at the core of all change, she strongly believes that in continuing to cultivate herself and share that knowledge, she can help facilitate inspiration, thought and ultimately positive change. Astrid is currently taking on projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City and Miami Beach.

We believe in cultivating spaces that enrich and elevate what’s already there. Focusing on natives, low water, and permaculture design principles, our north star has always been creating beneficial and restorative spaces. Gardens are constantly evolving projects and we would love to jump in at whatever stage you’re at.
