Kiosk: An independent stand from which merchandise is sold, often placed in the common area of a shopping center. Kiosk is located in SoHo, New York. We offer a curated range of products from all over the world in an exhibition format. Everything is sourced during our travels; we build our collections while away and then feature what we find at KIOSK for 4 - 6 months. Our current show is AMERICA #3, in addition we also have an “Ongoing” collection of objects from previous exhibitions. KIOSK is a travel story depicted through objects, a collection of interesting things from around the world, a study of material culture, a shop, several people's efforts to preserve unique and indigenous objects, an installation, maybe just something other than what we are used to. At KIOSK we feature the things that generally go unnoticed, products that are the result of local aesthetics and needs. Our motivation is to give attention to these anonymous objects and support independent producers. Hopefully what we share encourages you to go out and meet and talk and learn and see and show. KIOSK is not static. We are not able to predict our stock as it is decided by each trip. Sometimes certain goods are only offered on a very limited basis. There is always a mix of things. Roche Bobois is an iconic french contemporary furniture brand. Created in 1950 when Jacques Roche purchased an old theater in Paris and converted it into two stores, the firm distributed contemporary furniture heavily inspired by Bauhaus designers like Minvielle, Steiner and Airbourne. Roche Bobois continued to evolve with the times, introducing Scandinavian designs to France in 1961, and then exploring ethnic influences in contemporary designs through the 70's, 80's and '90s. Beginning in 2000, the firm expanded globally while developing close partnerships with contemporary designers and architects.

Matthew Hilton was born in Hastings in 1957. He graduated with a degree in Furniture Design from Kingston Polytechnic in 1979 when he started to design and manufacture a range of objects using low-tech casting techniques. From 1980 to 1984 Hilton worked as an industrial designer for the product design company Capa, London. In 1985 he set up the Matthew Hilton Design Studio and started working for the British retailer and manufacturer SCP. Hilton’s collaboration with SCP includes iconic designs like the Balzac chair, the Flipper, and Antelope table. Matthew Hilton’s studio has since expanded its practice and is currently working with other manufacturers.

eGeneration is a fourteen-year-old store dealing in Mid-Century vintage furniture, with a focus on the 50's. The store specializes in vintage pieces from American and Danish designers, such as Florence Knoll, George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Jens Risom, Milo Baughman, Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Borg Mogensen. The store combines a large selection of everyday pieces with hard to find collectibles, but what really makes it unique among Mid-Century outlets is the consistency in selection, style and price. reGeneration owners Christine Miele and Valerie Guariglia, sold their furniture at the flea markets and to other dealers before opening their first store in the East Village in 1993 on a shoestring budget and with a little help from friends. Four years later Miele and Guariglia opened a second store on Renwick Street in west SoHo, the first store to open its doors in the area, best known at the time for its hot dog trucks and industrial warehouses. The Renwick Street space, a converted sausage casing factory, was originally intended as a warehouse for their expanding business. However, it soon became their second store. When the Renwick Street location became busier than the flagship store, they closed the original space.
