Born outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brad Ascalon was immersed in the world of art and design from an early age. His grandfather was a noted sculptor and industrial designer, and his father is renowned for his large scale art installations throughout North America. Ascalon earned his Masters’ degree in Industrial Design from New York’s Pratt Institute in 2005, and that same year was recognized by Wallpaper* magazine as one of the world’s "Ten Most Wanted” emerging designers.

Since jumping into furniture, packaging, consumer products and environmental design in 2005, Brad Ascalon has quickly made a name for himself as a most-wanted designer. After founding Brad Ascalon Studio NYC and immediately acquiring his first client—cosmetics giant L'Oreal—Ascalon has proved to be one of today's top American designers.

Brad Liljequist is the program manager for zHome. For 23 years, he has worked as an urban designer and sustainable builder seeking to positively integrate human and natural communities. Brad has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors, and believes that a synergy between the issues and competencies of both are critical for effective community development. In addition to zHome, he managed the Northshore Community Plan, the Quality Urban Environment Project, and development of a LEED platinum, near zero energy fire station. He was educated at Georgetown University, the University of St. Andrews, and the UW Evans School.

Brad is an architectural photographer based in NYC. He photographs for architects and interior designers elevating the photographs to the level of art rather than mere documentation. His hand crafted bespoke images are compelling and create valuable marketing content for his clients. Brad draws his inspiration from the great American architectural photographers who came before him including; Julius Shulman, Ezra Stoller, and Balthazar Korab. Brad grew up in the mountains of North Carolina where his love for photography began with a high school photography class. Awarded a scholarship, he furthered his photography education at SCAD, the Savannah Collage of Art and Design. After his academic studies, he moved to New York City in 1995 to concentrate on architectural photography. He drew his initial inspiration from the vastly diverse architecture of New York and honed his craft through an apprenticeship with Paul Warchol. Now, he shoots for architectural firms like Salazar Architecture, Method Architects, and Konyk Architecture. Traveling the world for the perfect shot.
