GamFratesi Design Studio was established in 2006 by furniture designers Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi. Gam is Danish, while Fratesi is Italian, and together they represent a new interpretation of the meeting between Danish and international design traditions. GamFratesi's design takes its creative drive from a fusion of traditional and experimental approaches in materials and techniques. With both of their backgrounds, Gam and Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. From this cross-cultural substrate the studio creates furniture that respectfully reflects tradition while also featuring distinctive embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom. Anna Strupinskaya is a dynamic designer and interior architect capturing the attention with her conceptual approach and thoughtful use of form. Graduated at the Moscow State University of Industrial and Applied Arts named after Stroganov, Faculty of Design in 2007, she continued the education by gathering international experience at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan.
