Brandi Andres is an editorial contributor, who first came to Dwell as the Los Angeles Editorial Fellow. Brandi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in women’s studies with concentrations in communication studies and English from UCLA, and completed studies in creative writing at the esteemed UCLA Writers Program. She has written for the Huffington Post, the Daily Beast, and Travel Pulse. Through her many world travels and living amidst the cultural, historic architecture of Madrid, London, and Los Angeles, Brandi has cultivated a great love and respect for iconic design and how it relates to and inspires the modern world.

Robert Gordon-Fogelson is the editorial intern at Dwell. He studies twentieth-century design history at the Bard Graduate Center, where his research interests revolve around the history of modern design retailing and the intersection between products, interiors, and architecture.

As Dwell's digital edition production manager, Leah King manages the creation of the digital replica of the magazine and sees it through as it transforms to be viewed on the iPad, Nook and Kindle. Shepherding through images and editorial pages, iconic designers and their designs, architects and their creations, and the photographers who shoot them, gives her a unique opportunity to see to the beauty and style produced in each issue of Dwell. In life outside of Dwell, she indulges in her passions for photography, vinyl albums, collecting vintage electronics and calling it like she sees it over at Caught Looking.

Photographer Narayan Mahon’s editorial work has been featured in ESPN magazine, Harper’s, the Atlantic, and the Virginia Quarterly Review.

Allison Arieff was a founding senior editor of Dwell and served as its editor-in-chief from 2002 to 2007. She is currently the editorial director of print for MIT Technology Review. She does not, alas, live in a prefab house, but does have a factory-built 1962 Airstream trailer.
