Living Room Light Hardwood Floors Bookcase Sofa Table Design Photos and Ideas

The designer’s brother, Václav Valda, carved the cabinets for the container house using a milling cutter.
The firm raised the height and increased the width of the new opening between the kitchen and dining room.
The main living area follows the same minimalist style, with enough room for a large table, sofa, and built-in work area. A large sliding door leads out to the rear deck.
"The column had to be affordable and nice to look at," note the architects. "So we bought a tree and put it right in the middle of the building. Between the tree and the facade, we have created new floors which are built in a spiral around the tree. This results in a very dynamic and open space."
The blue cabinets of the kitchen run through into the living area with a softer natural oak top tying the room together. A modular sofa can be moved in different configurations.
Colorful teal and green cushions decorate the built-in wood furniture. Simple open shelves extend along the living space, providing additional storage.
