Ferruccio Laviani is an Italian designer, born in 1960 in Cremona, Italy. Laviani designs furniture, lighting, interior, and exhibition spaces and has worked with esteemed design brands including Flos, Cassina, Dolce & Gabbana and Kartell. Laviani's long collaboration with Kartell has yielded a range of innovative light fixtures that test the boundaries of materials and design.

Hive was founded in 2002 with the idea that good design can and should be presented in an inspired, knowledgeable, and friendly manner. From humble beginnings fueled primarily on inspiration, Hive has grown to inhabit its own free-standing building in the Pearl District, Portland's most upscale urban neighborhood. Paolo Rizzatto was born in 1941 in Milan. He took his degree in Architecture in I965 at the Milan Polytechnic. In his studio he works as a freelancer in the field of architecture, design and interior design and continues to develop his experience as interior lighting designer. In 1978 he founded Luceplan together with Riccardo Sarfatti. He has designed for Arteluce, Artemide, Luceplan, Alias, Cassina, Nemo, Molteni, Knoll, Kartell, Philips, Montina, Thonet and Guzzini.

Studiopepe is an Italian design studio that was founded in 2006 by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto. The Milan–based agency takes a visionary and multidisciplinary approach to design, focusing on experimentation, citations, and unexpected associations. Franco Albini was an Italian architect and designer, known for his neo-rationalist design principles. In each of his designs, Albini blended modern furniture design with traditional Italian artisanship. Often using raw, inexpensive materials, Albini proved that elegant design was possible despite the origin of the materials used. Albini worked for a variety of modern companies, including Cassina, Arflex, Arteluce, and Poggi. During his career, Albini earned three Compasso d’Oro awards.

Ilaria Marelli, architect and designer, founded in 2004 the creative lab ilaria marelli studio, specialized in product, exhibition and interior design. The studio’s well-known clients include: Cappellini, Cassina, Zanotta, Fiam, E&Y, Coro, Bonaldo, Coin, Bosa, Invicta, Lancia, Tivoli Audio, Pitti, gruppo World Japan. Ilaria Marelli is member of the first Italian Design Council, and she is promoting the first Italian project of co-housing. Ilaria Marelli teaches industrial design at Milano Politecnico.

The house was built by a cattle farmer with a lot of land, he was quiet influential in that region. The barns surrounding the house had been built first and later he started to build the stone-house and it was extended over the years. Later on the House was used as an Inn, before it was converted to a one family home. We restored 3 of the fire-places on the ground floor. And we also put the most energy efficient heating and cooling system (heat pumps) to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We renovated the house with a lot of love and filled it with old original and very modern parts. Behind the house with a panoramic view of the Catskills Range is our Saltwater swimming pool with a patio and sun-chairs to relax and a full functioning BBQ gas grill. Our comfortably spacious kitchen filled with modern conveniences including 6-burner Viking range and dishwasher. There are 6 acres of land surrounding the property wich includes 2 barns and at the far end is the Esopus Creek immersed by a nature preserve. The living room has a working fire place as well and a " Vico Magistretti for Cassina” leather sofa to relax and a video projector with a pull down screen to make your own movie nights. The dining room sits 14 people for some great dinner parties and festivities on a beautiful “Pace” dining table made out of Maple.
