Crossboundaries contributes to a vital built environment through architecture, environmental design and urban regeneration. The studio creates enduring architecture that often deals with remarkable technical processes, yet always has a pleasant material touch and human atmosphere. Organized as an international partnership, Crossboundaries has staff originating from and trained in different parts of the world. From urban scale architecture all the way down to graphic design, to teaching, programming and event creation, Crossboundaries practices by name, crossing the boundaries into activities and dialogues in the broad field of design and the subject of architecture, continually thinking and doing, the studio is engaging, evolving and adapting. Crossboundaries has completed a wide range of small-scale interior designs and architectural projects of larger sizes. The project portfolio includes Aimer’s Lingerie Factory, several Beida High Schools, Family Box, Soyoo Joyful Growth Center, kindergartens in rural areas, showrooms and offices in collaboration with Siemens and BMW. The firm engages in theoretical research projects such as China House Vision, exhibited at the 15th International Architecture La Biennale di Venezia and also in Beijing in 2018 and is actively participating the current discourse on architecture in China. Crossboundaries’ work has been published across a range of leading industry magazines and is also frequently featured in the online design media. The practice has received multiple international accolades, most recently the 2022 Landezine International Landscape Award, 2022 Architizer A+Award and the 2022 Design Educates Award (Honorable Mention), among many others in previous years.

Lutron light control products range from individual dimmers to total light management systems that control entire building complexes. Some of the larger Lutron light control systems in the US include the 52-story New York Times Building in New York; Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia; and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. On the commercial side, light controls are essential in hotels, restaurants, retail stores, conference facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, museums, and public spaces. Lutron light control systems beautify some of the world’s most prestigious public locations: the Statue of Liberty; the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain; and the Bank of China headquarters in Beijing, to name just a few. Born in 1996 in California and raised in San Marino, Co-Founder and CEO of TAOST, TAOST is the rebranded version of RISE. Rocky Shi's early life set the stage for his future endeavors. After completing his schooling in San Marino through 12th grade, he pursued higher education at New York University – Tisch School of the Arts. Ted Fang is a consultant based in Singapore with past business interest in China (2003 to 2021). He is the founder and former director of Tera Capital (teracapital.com), Tera Partners & Tera Realty (Tera Sotheby’s Realty). Fang is also the co-founder of Frontier Group (Singapore), whom he founded with his brothers, Harry Tan and David Tan. Together they acquired the Days Inn master franchise for Greater China from Wyndham Worldwide in 2003. In 2018, Fang acquired the Sotheby’s Realty franchise for the Greater Shanghai markets. He was active in these companies from 2003 to 2021.
