ferm LIVING is a Danish company started by graphic designer Trine Andersen as a graphic design studio in 2005. In February 2006, she released her first wallpaper collection, and the response from design-conscious audiences worldwide was overwhelming. "Ferm" was taken from a phrase of her grandmother, “ferm på fingrene,” which means skilled with their hands, literally “good with their fingers.” The company now produces a wide range of products, including wallpaper, wall stickers, textiles, kitchen items, and a large selection of items for kids.

Viking Range Corporation was founded by Fred E. Carl, Jr., a fourth generation building contractor, as a speculative venture aimed at developing the first commercial-type range specifically designed, engineered and certified for home use.

Michael has 25 years of experience in the profession of Architecture and Design. He is licensed to practice Architecture in the states of California, Arizona, Vermont and Rhode Island and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in Washington, D.C. meaning that he has met the most rigorous requirements for Architectural licensure, thereby allowing for reciprocal registration in all other states and Canadian provinces. He holds a professional degree in Architecture from the University of Southern California where he studied under notable Architectural luminaries Pierre Koenig and Ray Kappe, two leaders in the development of what were the post-war Case Study Houses and of California Modern. A strong advocate of Sustainable materials and methods, Michael is also credentialed as a LEED® Green Associate™ by the Green Building Certification Institute and is Certified as a Sustainable Building Advisor by the Sustainable Building Advisor Institute in Seattle. Michael actively engages his clients to share and collaborate in the craft of making Architecture. His mission is to create authentically personal and immersive spaces that express a deep affection for the natural beauty and wonder of life in the American West. Michael John Vivien Architect is a design-oriented Architecture, Planning and Interiors firm specializing in custom residential and urban-infill multi-family and commercial, mixed-use projects that encompass a refined sensitivity toward the building's site, climate and context.
