When it’s a bit cooler and the windows can be opened, the home's orientation encourages excellent air circulation. An open closet adjoins the upper level ensuite bathroom and looks neat and tidy with detailed finishes that are consistent with the rest of the house.

“Consistent with the lakefront cabin charm, the owners liked the idea of accessing much of the house from outdoor porches and walkways,” says architect Ted Flato. Supplies from Dynamic Architectural Windows and Doors bring light in to the home’s covered spaces.

The children’s rooms both feature custom, built-in desks for studying and homework. “There’s a language of reveals and quirks and integrated pulls—handleless drawers and doors—that is consistent even if the form and function of the particular detail is different,” says architect Nicholas Fiore.

“Architecture, art, and design are disciplines which consistently inspire my own collections,” explains Roksanda. “This project created an opportunity to expand my ideas about the true reflection of my own aesthetic, beyond fashion.”
