The home’s interior is a fusion of glass and reclaimed redwood, the latter sourced from a nearby decommissioned airplane hangar.

"From most areas of the living level, you can simultaneously see and experience both the towering trees to the north and sweeping city and bay view to the south," says Maniscalco. "The careful placement of this floor level and creation of this spacial experience was a real cornerstone of the project."
Interior finishes include wide-plank European white oak flooring, Pietra Serena limestone slab inlays, rift cut white oak cabinetry, and wax steel detailing.
The kitchen and living area are connected to a small sun-drenched balcony.

The original double-sided fireplace was wrapped in plaster for an updated look. Yet, it was kept in the same location, as the home maintained its original footprint throughout the remodel.
Built-in storage solutions and floating shelves provide ample storage in the main living space.  Homerwood Hickory flooring and exposed structure reach outwards to the views beyond.
