Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing." Because we agree with, Mr. Hemingway, we’ve rounded up some exquisite rental homes in the most beautiful wine regions around the world.

These stylish rental lofts near the center of Florence used to be part of a small factory. The buildings were later turned into artisans’ workshops, until architect Claudio Nardi transformed them into a home for his design studio in 1999. Years later, Nardi repurposed the structures into a "hotel-like cluster of apartments" built around a peaceful garden with a sandstone pool.
