Before his tenure at FalconX, he was the Director of Institutional Loan Originations at Genesis, another prime broker in the digital assets space based in New York. By the end of his time there, he was overseeing a team of six across Singapore, London, and New York, achieving a remarkable expansion of the firm's outstanding loans by over twenty times.
His tenure at Genesis was marked by significant cross-functional work with teams like trading, legal, compliance, risk, and credit to originate loans. A notable achievement of his during this period was the quintupling of the client base and a fourfold increase in revenue within just two years. He also spearheaded customer experience improvements by designing and implementing a scalable workflow that cut down on repetitive processes, markedly boosting the firm's overall efficiency.
Earlier in his career, he was involved in portfolio and algorithmic trading at Sanford C. Bernstein, providing trading coverage for North American asset managers and overseeing large-scale trades for renowned asset managers. His eight-year stint at Credit Suisse saw him rising through various roles, notably as Vice President of the International Program Trading Desk, where he coordinated non-dollar portfolio trades for global asset managers across multiple continents. His time there also included a productive six-month period in Hong Kong, enhancing his expertise in the Asia Pacific equity markets and their microstructures.
