    RICHARD WOODS: Artist Richard Woods is a graduate of the Slade School of Fine Art.His well-documented work crosses boundaries between art,architecture and design and is most often made up of exaggerated,garish representations ofntraditional British architectual and interior motifs like wooden flooring,chintz wallpapers, crazy paving or red bricks. These 'logos of reality' are created using traditional woodblock techniques and applied to walls as second skin covering interior floors, walls and recently an entire residential building in upstate New York. In these instances, Woods' art express an extreme version of English-ness by taking over a space and saturating it with iconography. Woods continues to win prestigious commissions and exhibit around the world. SEBASTIAN WRONG: Sebastian Wrong's ten year career in the manufacturing sector has accumulated in an impressive array of technical skills. Wrong first studied sculpture before going in to establish his own successful manufacturing company. The Spun lamp, design by Wrong in 2002 and produced by Flos, won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Wrong is also a founding member and currently the Design Development Director of Established & Sons. His manufacturing prowess has lent substantial credibility to the organisation. Wrong continues to exercise his abilities in the field of manufacturing at Established& Sons as well as flex his considerable creative skills as product designer.

  • Sebastian Scherer
    @sebastianscherer
    Aachen-born designer Sebastian Scherer embraced the value of less from a young age. “My first apartment was in Mies van der Rohe’s house,” he recalls, “so I started dealing with the principles of Bauhaus early.” After developing a passion for furniture design at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences, where he studied under Karel Boonzaaijer and Jan Armgardt, Scherer relocated to Berlin and set up his own studio in 2010. Bearing the indelible mark of van der Rohe’s influence, his minimalist pieces toy with our perception of depth through clever use of light, color, and material. Comprised entirely of colored glass, his Isom series of hexagonal side tables appear to flatten with distance, evoking an isometric drawing of a cube. Functional yet strikingly visual, Scherer describes them as the “perfect combination of form and function.” - The original ideas in our design process always launch an extensive journey of discovery. While searching for the best materials and the perfect production processes, NEO/CRAFT constantly considers the enjoyment and pleasure that a table, lamp or everyday object should evoke – each day of the year, and for decades to come. A certain material may trigger an initial design idea. But choosing the right material also lends products a unique tactile nature, ensuring that their quality endures over the years and that they never lose their inherent beauty. Innovative production processes, meanwhile, open up exciting and surprising new opportunities. NEO/CRAFT develops products from top-grade raw materials, which are processed in highly innovative ways. Their form is often deceptively simple – after all, it’s the details that make every object unique.
