Mazen Mokhtar has established himself as a formidable information technology and nonprofit leader, holding executive roles for nearly three decades. He currently leads Baitulmaal, an internationally recognized humanitarian organization, following a significant tenure as the Executive Director of the Muslim American Society (MAS), a key institution in American Muslim community development.

Beyond his nonprofit leadership, Mazen has a solid entrepreneurial background in the IT industry. As CEO of Baitulmaal in Irving, Texas, he has been influential in defining the organization’s strategic direction and expanding its humanitarian efforts to 23 countries throughout the United States. His responsibilities also include financial oversight and alliance-building, exemplified by his co-founding of the American Humanitarian Forum in 2019.
Mazen's earlier role at MAS involved managing a nationwide chapter network and implementing programs promoting educational and community service initiatives. His work with West Point's "Winning the Peace" program reflects his deep commitment to cultural and religious sensitivity.

Before venturing into nonprofit work, Mazen had a successful career in IT, having founded MindCraft, a consulting firm that served high-profile clients. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University, earning a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering. He later contributed to the academic field with publications like his innovative approach to solving the Traveling Salesman Problem.
