Autobahn, established in 2003, operates from an office in Galata, Istanbul's historic quarter. From the tall guillotine windows of their office, the team has panoramic views of the beautiful Bosphorus and the historic Galata Tower. Autobahn designs and develops interior environments for commercial and residential purposes. In fact, they designed most of the trendy cafes and casual-chic clothing stores in Istanbul. In addition to creating spaces, Autobahn also designs products.

De La Espada sees itself as a leading exponent of contemporary craft, with a strong focus on solid wood without ignoring other materials that require the passion of a craftsman or craftswoman. We work with leading designers such as Matthew Hilton, vibrant younger talents such as the Autoban design office from Istanbul, and promote new talent by working with designers from around the world who are starting their career. All of them share a passion for product, where substance triumphs over style, without forgetting the importance of modern design to create products that are useful and which permit the user to connect at an emotional level.
