FX Balléry is a graduate of the Royal College of Art in London and the L'Ecole Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Reims. He also is a double prize winner of the Comité Colbert Award for Chanel and Hermès. In 2000, having his ESAD degree in hands, FX moved to England to do his Masters in product design at the RCA under the supervision of Ron Arad. During those two years, he enhanced his vision and practice of design by comparing his ideas with other students from around the world. Back in Paris, FX founded his studio FX Balléry Design. The studio’s activity varies from product design to furniture design, packaging, merchandising, interior and industrial design. In 2010, he established the LED lighting company GOODBYE EDISON and became art director for Y’A PAS LE FEU AU LAC. For FX Balléry, design is a way to tell stories.
