All of the interior furnishings were designed and built by LEAPfactory for this specific project. These pieces, including the reception desk, are made of laminated boards and the same reforested beech wood used in the school’s structure. A door behind the reception desk leads to a living room for the ski and snowboard instructors.

An installation by Kirsten Hassenfeld hangs above the custom reception desk, which is topped with slate. The floor tiles are 14OraItaliana's iGattipardi line. &Tradition makes the pendant lights and the Vivid Victorian wallpaper is from Flavor Paper.

Platner’s own wire series chairs for Knoll were used in the reception rooms at Windows on the World, the restaurant located on the top floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center and completed in 1976.

In the reception area, Geremia Design called upon Chambers Art & Design to co-design and engineer a stretched fabric screen depicting Yosemite's Half Dome. The pendant lighting is by Workstead.

The reception features terrazzo flooring and teak and walnut casework.

The reception is a gallery-like space which is flooded with natural light, perfect for displaying artwork made on site by the artists-in-residence. "The reception is a good example of how the communal space is designed for the guest, but also for the artists and curators," Hesselbrand explains.

The reception area of the building features a timber-framed desk and LED strip lighting.

The first thing you see when you enter the synagogue is a long narrowing reception area. The sculptural reception desk is made of two white QuaDror feet and a transparent glass top. A donor wall with blue bricks acknowledges financial contributions. Converging lines on the ceiling create a sense of narrowing perspective en route to the prayer room. The Lobby Reception space is adorned with mid-century modern pendant lighting, tropical wall graphics, and color furnishings.

BURSA's reception desk is composed of scrunched-up metal sheets set behind a glass panel.

A node to the past, original doors have been re-purposed and now provide decorative paneling behind the reception desk.

Standing behind the reception desk is an installation designed by the OMFGCO Art Department. It includes 70 vintage dashboard hula nodders.

Along with the museum's doors and windows, the reception desk, bar counter, and bathroom sinks have also been custom-designed and created by hand.

Fans, textiles, and illustrations behind the reception desk, adjacent to the palace's original staircase, transport guests to far-off lands upon entry.

A 100-foot-long wall of terracotta breeze blocks designed by Patricia Urquiola for Mutina—called Tierras 3D—surrounds the reception window and extends into a seating area.

After passing through a long, dark tunnel and a small reception area, guests are welcomed into the largest gallery, which leads to other cave-like spaces.

In the lobby, guests are greeted at a reception desk fabricated by NYC company FERRER and illuminated by vintage pendants sourced from Belgium. The ornate tile on the floor is original—a nod to the building's past.

The Daylesford Longhouse sits on 20 acres in central Victoria. It houses a boutique farm, garden kitchen, cooking school, reception venue, and home inside a single building that’s 110 meters long.

Topping off the hotel amenities is BaTabasTa, a shop that was founded in Shanghai by Clara Arnús and Leti Cano. Located in the reception area, you’ll find printed shirts—some of which feature patterns that can be found throughout the rest of the hotel.
