Following a painstaking, multimillion-dollar restoration, this masterpiece has been restored to its former glory and reopened to the public with newly expanded tour offerings. The Frederick C. Robie House, widely considered to be the epitome of Prairie style, was completed in 1910 as a private residence near the University of Chicago’s Hyde Park campus. Additionally, several pieces of original furniture, including the home’s dining table and chairs as well as the main floor‘s guest room furniture, are newly on display as part of a loan from the Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago.

Public 05 is a minimalist space located in Tiel, the Netherlands, designed by i29. The project includes a new lobby, meeting area, and BKR restaurant. The space is used to allow users to access their mortgages, loans, and debts. While the majority of the space is meant to be open and transparent, private spaces utilize high-quality acoustic solutions to allow for more secure conversation. The main challenge was to integrate both a public and private space seamlessly to favor both a workplace and meeting setting.

Justine’s is a speakeasy in rough and tumble Olneyville. Birch is a serious restaurant with twelve seats and a tasting menu. Downtown has so many new additions that have opened recently and are really stellar—Ken’s Ramen, Bodega Malasana, Rosalina’s, the Eddy, etc. And of course our own bars (The Boombox and The Magdalenae Room) and Bolt Coffee."
