Pedersen's design for the new Bar Cart seamlessly blends aesthetics with functionality. The cart’s integrated handle and large wheels facilitate smooth passage on uneven ground while twin trays offer ample space for serving. The generous gaps between the slats make for easy cleanup.

Famiy mmebers can enter the home via the back door, go directly into the Laundry/Pantry, and shed their clothes for efficient clean-up .

The first centers around the stainless-steel-and-Zodiac-stone island, which is topped by a custom beaded chandelier by South African company TeamTwo Design. In this family everyone had pretty defined roles: the husband picked up fresh ingredients on his way home from work and then did the cooking; the wife did the cleanup; the kids ate and did their homework. We really discussed each role and formed the space to fit."
