The top floor holds the Chiavellis’ bedroom suite, with a dressing room and built-in spa. “The farmers dried their crops up here,” says Chiavelli. “We knew right away this was the spot that we wanted to have our own room.”
A bedroom occupies the top of each tower; a ladder leads to a sleeping nook and an east-facing window seat in the Sunrise suite.
In the penthouse suite, a mixture of mass-produced and home made: a custom live-edge white ash bed designed by Jessica Wickham Studio, with the Cielo sectional sofa in Ivory from CB2. The cantilevered suspension "DT Floor lamp" was designed by Phil Luithlen and the round bathtub comes from Linea Aqua.
A fireplace and cabinets were removed from the window wall in the new master suite area to create a room large enough for a king size bed.
The master suite’s bathroom unfolds from a glass-walled bathing room, outfitted with a Signature Hardware tub and Lefroy Brooks fixtures, to an open-air shower.
The home’s open floor plan is exemplified by the loft-like master suite that looks out onto the backyard through a double-height living room. Sliding pocket doors and windows (invisible here), allow for privacy and separation when desired.
The Owner’s Suite at the Drake Devonshire is located under a dramatic A-frame clad with Douglas fir inside. John Tong and his team custom designed the bed and found the sofa, armchair, and red footstool at the Brimfield Antique Market. The windows are by Alumilex, and the interior paint is Benjamin Moore’s Buckland Blue and Colorado Gray.

“Structure, rather than decorative elements, provides visual appeal,” Cook says. “The slats create interesting shadows and texture.”

Making our way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this master suite bathroom is nestled within a mountain retreat that sits on five acres of private land. Slabs of Carrera marble line the space while the central window overlooks the Grand Teton national park. Placed at the edge of the bathroom is a 50-square-foot shower with steam capabilities.
The Diaghilev hotel is located in a 1934 building that served as the first printing house for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Changing art exhibitions throughout the hotel ensure that the guest experience mirrors Tel Aviv’s constantly evolving creative scene. The master suite is housed in a cozy ground floor nook that takes advantage of the home’s original archways. Transparent and semi-transparent glass are used to create privacy without sacrificing scarce light. Understated sunken floor lighting adds a subtle accent to the perimeter.

The products featured in the suite will all be making their North American debuts. Included is a sofa/bed system called Tango.
The convertible piece features a high-end, modular sofa with a Clei wall bed hidden behind it. The sofa comes in a variety of modules, including a standalone, matching loveseat.
