An Arco floor lamp from Flos arches over a Bend sofa by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia. A pair of Low Pad chairs by Jasper Morrison and a Sunset chair by Christophe Pillet, all for Cappellini, are arranged around a set of Pebble coffee tables by Ligne Roset.

Grcic had another hit in 1999 with the Mayday lamp for Flos.

OK by Konstantin Grcic for Flos Inspired by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù’s 1972 Parentesi lamp, Grcic created an updated LED version that swivels 360 degrees and can slide from floor to ceiling.

Lunar was a light project for Flos in 2008.

The upper level consists of an open-plan living and dining space and was built with a prefabricated cross-laminated timber construction. The kitchen is outfitted with Miele appliances and a terrazzo countertop from Marmi Scala. Aim pendants from Flos hang above the stairway.

The Spun Table Lamp ($995-$1,195)—designed by Sebastian Wrong for Flos—comes in a variety of sizes and finishes, including the polished aluminum seen here. Made it Italy, it features a 0-100 percent dimmer that gives you ultimate control over of illumination.

Amanda got rid of the mirrored wall and installed FLOS AIM Pendant Lights in the living room.

Wan for FLOS, 2006 Wan is the Japanese word for “bowl,” Grawunder’s inspiration for these hanging “bowls of light” that continue to be produced, as both suspension and hanging lights in various finishes.

The green Snopi lamp is by Flos, and the colored bench is by João Bruno Videira, a Portuguese artisan who works with webs of woolen yarn.

A pair of Splügen Braü pendants from Flos hang near a kitchen island topped with black Swedish granite. The faucets are from Vola and the appliances are from Siemens.

Furniture adds a dose of texture and color to the minimal space. The living room features a HAY Mags Module sofa, Moroso Take a Line for a Walk fauteuil, Moroso Phoenix Table, and Flos Glo-Ball Lamp.

Also by Barber Osgerby and on display at the fair is the new Beaker Wall Lights for Flos.

Snoopy by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, $1,095 If you’re going to drop a thousand dollars on a lamp, consider a classic, like the Castiglionis’ marble beauty, originally introduced in 1967.

The couple worked on the interiors with project architect Maria Danos. In the living room, an Arco lamp by Flos arches over a Jean-Marie Massaud for Poltrona Frau sofa, which joins an Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia coffee table, a Patricia Urquiola rug, and three-legged stools by Chris Connell.

Konstantin Grcic’s Venus chairs for ClassiCon surround a table by Poliform in the formal dining room. Hill selected the Flos chandelier designed by Marcel Wanders for its "Old World reverence." The sleek fireplace mantel was designed by Hill and cobbled together onsite from three solid slabs of limestone.

The staircase leads to the upper level and features lighting from Flos.

Now, floor to ceiling slats define the staircase. The pendant light is from Flos.

An additional dining area boasts George Nakashima chairs and lighting from Flos.
