This master bedroom features a spectacular chandelier-style pendant with romantic, star-shaped lights.
After successfully reconfiguring his own tiny New York City apartment, Robert Garneau, partner at Architecture Workshop PC, reinvented a 400-square-foot studio for neighbors just a few floors down. Called the Pivot Apartment, the highly efficient residence now serves multiple functions, thanks to a central modular unit that can be arranged to create distinct stations for living, sleeping, and entertaining.
In total, the home features three bedrooms, two of which are tucked underneath the loft. The master bedroom, shown here, is located at the back of the cabin.
In the master bedroom, a pair of DCW Mantis sconces are positioned between the traditional molding, which mimics what’s found on the lower floor. The paint color is Benjamin Moore Alaskan Husky custom mix, and the quilt is from Hay. The side chair is an Urban Outfitters find.
The rooms exude clean lines with all built in furniture aside for a stool.
The master bedroom features a Pedro Useche coat rack and an Eames chair.
Here, the cleverly planned living area may look small, but can sleep as many as four guests on two sleep sofas and a double Murphy bed on the other side of the partition.
A shift in materials separates this bedroom from the breakfast area.
The house has three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.
Every room in the hotel is oriented toward spectacular mountain views, accentuating the guest's connection to the surrounding landscape.
In the master bedroom, expanses of white and peach paint play against the geometric lines of an inlaid-bone nightstand from Anthropologie. The traditional four-poster bed is from West Elm; the brass Cedar & Moss sconce is from Rejuvenation.
Rather than clutter the master bedroom with furniture, Frame Design Lab created a system where night stands hang from a wall-mounted headboard.
In the master bedroom, the couple opted for Artemide lighting: Vintage Eclisse table lamps by Vico Magistretti hang over the nightstands and a Tizio table lamp by Richard Sapper rests on a side table. The lounge chairs are vintage finds, and the rug is a Bedouin design purchased in Jerusalem.
In the master bedroom, a pair of Artemide Tolomeo sconces bookend a Matchbox bed by Edwin Blue.
The master bedroom and main den replicate the living room's warmth, comfort, and understatedness, while the kitchen is characterized by solid elegance.
