Distrito Fijo Cycling Club DFCC is a retail project in Colonia Juárez, Mexico City. The architectural approach consists in generating a continous path that connects three different kind of activities within the retail space; a coffee shop, a bicycle showroom and a bike workshop & repair.

The project enhances the use of neutral and apparent raw materials such as concrete, pinewood and metal work in the architecture and fixed furnishings, making bicycles and gear the main attraction to visitors. Such project seeks to work as a meeting point for all the biking Community of the area, promoting this alternative use of transportation.

The architectural scheme is divided in three half-levels in plan and section. On the grondfloor plan and closest to the street the coffee shop takes place, having an immediate contact with people passing by. The first floor houses the bike shop & showroom, which also serves as a common dinner space where people come togeher once a week to enjoy film displays and discussions. Lastly, the upper level has the bike workshop & repair unit.
