This studio was designed to create a work space where two artists could create their large format art pieces, while also providing a connection to their existing home. Each level contains a separate art studio, with a covered deck connecting it to the main house. The newly constructed connection allowed all members of the family to move freely and wander between the two buildings. Aesthetically, the studio was intended to look modern rustic. Primarily found or salvaged materials were used that added dimension and character to the final structure, fit for an artist.
