Modern Office Space Carved Out of a Crumbling Brick Building

R-ZERO converted this historic structure in Mexico City into a one-of-a-kind office space.

The building was rehabilitated for a human rights organization. A courtyard functions as public gathering space.
There are three meeting rooms on the ground floor of the structure, which can be used for private conversations or hold...
R-Zero crafted the tables and benches out of wood and metal. The chairs are Herman Miller.
"The building was 90% secure from the beginning; the walls didn't have significant damage," the firm says.
The firm added some windows to direct attention to the interior garden area.
A simple seating area.
