Entry way to a modern, contemporary Key West home.  Clean lines, planting was done with minimal species and in groupings.

The designers used wood sparingly for maximum effect, like the cedar siding on the front and back exteriors. The main facade offers  a glimpse through the house to the backyard, which was made larger by placing the garage closer to the street. “We hosted a concert and had people sitting inside and in front of the pool,” says Jaclyn. “The house completely lends itself to entertaining small and large groups alike.”

The main entry is denoted by a change in material from the facade's gray metal panels: vertically oriented wood boards and a glass-and-wood front door. The entry leads into the main hallway, whose strategically placed skylights bring in plenty of natural light.

The home is divided into three distinct pavilions. Orange box gutters break up these three forms, and a green pergola unites them. Instead of downpipes, rain chains are used as a visual element.
