No stranger to collaboration, pattern expert extraordinaire Sarah Sherman Samuel returns to Lulu & Georgia with a collection designed to bring warmth to the modern home. Reminiscent of the patterns of Morocco and the muted colors of Joshua Tree, Samuel’s new collection is made to be mixed and matched. While the pieces' neutral tones allow for easy integration into any room, their abstract patterns and textures are bold enough to make a statement in a more minimal space.
"I would describe my design style as relaxed, but edited and modern, but warm. I really think the rug collection encompasses that," says Samuel. She explains that she designed the collection "out of necessity…inspired by the rugs I find myself looking for over and over again."
This Samuel's second collaboration with Lulu & Georgia—in 2017 she designed a line of bestselling wallpaper for them with a similar bohemian style. A longtime customer of Lulu & Georgia herself, Sarah Sherman Samuel writes that it was a no-brainer to partner with the fellow female-run business a second time around.
