Seattle-based Shed Architecture & Design worked with kitchen systems company Space Theory to create Quynh-Vy’s dream kitchen, complete with pink cabinets, open walnut shelving, and a 12-foot marble island.

Aleksandra and Daniel removed the gray stucco, which revealed the original lap siding underneath was rotting, and replaced it with fiber cement siding board from Hardie instead.

Phoenix plays with the family dog next to a vintage J-149 sofa by Erik Ole Jørgensen in the living area. The couple’s full-size bed is tucked behind semi-sheer curtains in the corner.
Alex sits with Phoenix and two-year-old son Cy next to the loft’s single column, the only architectural detail remaining from the original interior. Bookcases made of String Shelves by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning keep things light and airy.
A pair of LC2 chairs by Le Corbusier are ideal spots for watching the river down below. The Womb chair by Eero Saarinen is a close second.
