Milo Baughman was a renowned American furniture designer. A consistent innovator, Baughman designed for many leading manufacturers, but is most well known for his work with Thayer Coggin, for which he served as design director from 1953 until his death in 2003. Known as a cutting edge designer, Baughman redefined American furniture, designing furniture that broke the mold while maintaining appeal in American homes for over sixty years. In addition to designing, Baughman was also an educator, teaching at Brigham Young University. His furniture is in several permanent museum collections.
