Outside, a punchy dining set spray-painted by Nagel livens up the patio.
The office niche features a desk from Joybird and a citrus-colored metal wall shelf by New Made LA.
The home once held three bedrooms, but previous owners removed the wall that separated two of them. The adjacent space now hosts a Joybird couch with a pull-out bed, and a workspace, and it can be separated by a curtain for privacy.
For a bedroom accent wall, Nagel chose Justina Blakeney's Cosmic Desert wallpaper in teal, also from Hygge and West, and paired it with a Joybird bed and bright red curtains.
The cooktop and wall ovens are also original and still function well.
The original kitchen, complete with Krisel-designed pegboard cabinetry, remains in place.
The dining area features Captain chairs and a Bistro table from Bend Goods.
On the other side of the living room, Nagel combined a leather Joybird sectional sofa with an AllModern rug.
For an eye-catching display, Nagel installed paintings inherited by her grandmother against an accent wall covered in Hygge & West wallpaper. The orange and red pattern is called Arcade, and it was designed by Heath Ceramics.
Inside, the angled sweep of the roofline and clerestory windows let in lots of desert light.
