Philippe Starck believes that creation must improve people’s lives. As an inventor, creator, architect, designer, and artistic director, Philippe Starck is a versatile artist who is focused on changing the world. Starck has completed thousands of projects, and has designed for renowned companies like Kartell, Flos, Magis, Baccarat, Vitra, Alessi, and many more. Starck was the first French man to be invited to speak at the TED conferences, and has been featured in various museum exhibitions including the Guggenheim and MoMa in New York. In the course of his celebrated design career, Starck has earned many awards and decorations.

Almost 200 years of bathroom history. It all begins in 1817, when George Friedrich Horn establishes an earthenware factory in Hornberg in the Black Forest. In 1842 the manufacture of tableware is extended to encompass sanitaryware products. The small earthenware factory has in the meantime become a global organisation that today produces sanitary ceramics, bathroom furniture, baths and spa products for dream bathrooms made by Duravit as well as products for the public and semi-public sectors. Today, the company employs more than 3,000 Duravit staff at eight production locations and in more than 60 countries around the world who translate the idea of "Living Bathrooms" into tangible reality.

CB2 is a modern destination from Crate and Barrel that first opened in Chicago in the year 2000 and has since grown to 14 urban store locations. CB2 is known for affordable modern design for apartment, loft, and home.

Alessi, an icon of Italian design, is a family business founded in 1921 in Omegna, Italy by Giovanni Alessi. The company is known for its stainless steel homewares and collaborations with designers and architects including Richard Sapper, Michael Graves, and Philippe Starck.

Eugeni Quitllet is a Catalan designer with a degree in design and architecture from “Llotja de Barcelona Art School” in 1996. He joined Philippe Starck’s team in 2001.

Kartell was founded in Milan in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli to produce plastic goods, including homewares and lamps. The iconic brand continues to be celebrated for its work in plastic, and works with top designers around the world "to introduce plastic to the home." The Kartell portfolio of products includes pieces by some of the world's top designers, including Philippe Starck, Joe Colombo, Patricia Urquiola, Ron Arad, and many more.
