Jeff Andrew Hawks is renowned for his expertise in developing specialized robotic arms for welding and material handling, as well as his skill in crafting advanced mechatronic devices to improve the fabrication process, his work is a testament to his inventive spirit. A particularly significant project under his direction is the development of a hip sled prototype designed to assist individuals with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which has sparked considerable excitement within the scientific community.
In the academic arena, Jeff holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. His passion for education is evident from his tenure teaching the senior capstone design course at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department.
