In 1975, Jack's life took a romantic turn when he married his wife from Iran. The couple briefly moved to Iran, where Jack taught English. This period not only allowed him to embrace a new culture but also to capture it through his burgeoning interest in photography, documenting their adventures and the vibrant landscapes of Iran. Returning to Colorado, Jack resumed his teaching career and completed his Master's Degree in Special Education in 1978. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 1979, enriching Jack's familial life. Despite progressing toward a doctorate in Special Education Administration, Jack felt a need for change by the late 1970s. This led him to pivot his career towards chiropractic care, enrolling at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 1983. After graduation, Jack established his chiropractic practice in Greeley, Colorado, merging his professional path with his love for the mountains and nature.
