J. MAYER H., based in Berlin since 1996, focuses on the intersections between architecture, communication and new technologies. Current projects include the city hall in the Scharnhauser park in Ostfildern, HeatSeat - a temperature-sensitive furniture, a refectory of the university Karlsruhe and Metropol Parasol and the reorganization of the Plaza de la Encarnacion in Sevilla. In cooperative teams, from installations to drafts concerning town construction and international competitions, multidisciplinary space research is compiled and realized.
