Ha Hatley, MD, now resides in Clewiston, Florida, and is a board-certified physician specializing in obesity and family medicine. Born in Vietnam, she moved to the United States at age 17 and has dedicated her career to providing patient-focused and comprehensive care. Hatley emphasizes a holistic approach to health, ensuring her patients receive physical, emotional, and overall well-being support.
Her academic journey reflects a strong dedication to research and education. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she focused on rare genetic diseases, laying a solid foundation for her medical career. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Smith College and a Master of Science in Biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She completed her medical degree at the SIU School of Medicine and a residency in family medicine at Mercy Hospital, where she refined her expertise in treating diverse medical conditions.
Hatley holds certifications from the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Since August 2022, she has worked extensively in emergency and family medicine, treating many acute and chronic conditions. Her experience includes managing complex medical cases in emergency settings and providing long-term care for patients with various health concerns, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, psychiatric, and gastrointestinal conditions.
In March 2024, Hatley expanded her practice to telemedicine, specializing in obesity management. She utilizes advanced treatments such as GLP1 agonists and Phentermine to help patients achieve sustainable weight loss and address obesity-related health issues. Additionally, she provides urgent care consultations, offering timely and effective solutions for everyday health problems.
Beyond her clinical work, Hatley is deeply committed to holistic medicine, incorporating integrative and preventative care into her practice. She is also actively involved in philanthropy, supporting Catholic charities, and participating in medical missions. She notably spent two weeks in Peru delivering essential healthcare services to underserved populations in remote regions.
