bluepoolroad | peggy wongan award-winning designer and former deputy art director for Martha Stewart in New York, peggy launched studio/pw in 2007 after over a decade of experience with some of the world’s most recognized brands. having traversed the nuances of typography and art direction with fluency, peggy brings a highly refined sensibility with the credentials to back it up. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (with the Chair’s award for excellence in graphic design), she was also a faculty member at the Art Institute of California. Her past and present clients include Victoria's Secret Beauty, Target, Bath & Body Works, IBM, Reebok, Williams-Sonoma, Bon Appétit magazine, Emotional Branding, Aroma Naturals, and more.
In early 2009, Peggy branched out with her own stationery line called
bluepoolroad. When it came to her own brand, Peggy drew on a lifetime of visionary aesthetic collages. "Growing up on the actual Blue Pool Road in Hong Kong, I was influenced and fascinated by buildings, lines and shapes, colors and textures…" The overall look and feel of the collection became a blend of clean and modern typography with classic but unexpected colorways. Peggy’s photography, featured on bluepoolroad blog and snaps, tells the visual stories she encounters in her day-to-day experiences and punctuates bluepoolroad’s creative offerings.
