Modern Views

As two of the most famous works of residential architecture, Mies van der Rohe's 1941-45 Farnsworth House & Garden and Philip Johnson's 1947 Glass House, have inspired nearly 90 creations for an exclusive project with the National Historic Preservation Trust. As well as these artistic works, Modern Views also features Christy MacLear, executive director of the Philip Johnson Glass House, critic Paul Goldberger, and an essay by preservationist Phyllis Lambert and historian Sylvia Lavin.
