Design Within Reach Contour Chair

"Chairs and stools are mostly seen from the back, so that panel was crucial," says designer Hallgeir Homstvedt. In this way, the Contour Collection (2018) demonstrates a refined, yet striking balance of materials: a wood-sculpted frame that hems in and supports a gracefully upholstered seat and back. Designed collaboratively with Jonah Takagi, the pair developed a quietly recognizable chair with a slim frame and a broad back panel. Made in Thailand.
