Designed by Pat Kim in his Brooklyn studio, the Triangle Dinner Bell is the perfect way to round up the troops for dinner, or delicately interrupt a marathon of video game playing. Reminiscent of traditional, rustic triangles, it is crafted from hand-bent hot-rolled steel, and includes a solid brass striker and an English Bridle leather loop for hanging and holding.

He’d be like, ‘you’re pinches look so…aggressive.’ I’m better with the colors and coming up with the shapes. I can basically turn any form into a lamp at this point.”

Here you can see the triangle motif from the exterior moved inside into the living room style space. Though many of the triangles are in fact windows punched into the envelope of the building, many others are actually lights. There's plenty of natural daylight from the massive glazed window on to the terrace, though.

In a hallway, the Single Triangle Console powder-coated pink, from the Cuffhome collection, makes for a striking statement piece.

A gradient of skylights in the hallway ranges from a vermilion triangle at the master bedroom end to a bright yellow at the living area.

The Triangle House, 2006.

The Triangle House was completed in 2006, and its natural materials and geometric form equally embrace the surrounding forests and ocean.

Kristen designed the kitchen work triangle for easy access between sink, stove, and refrigerator.

The triangle is the home’s leitmotiv, appearing in the cantilevered bedroom module and the steps approaching the entrance.

Carly and Brad rearranged the former entry closet area to form a small vestibule that would block the direct view to the kitchen upon arrival. Instead of covering it with wallpaper, they created a custom stencil and painted it themselves on Cristmas Eve. They used the colors that are used throughout the house, while the triangles take cues from the triangles that exist on the original door.

Triangles are a central theme in this peaceful, light-filled home. The geometric shape is reflected in a tastefully placed pendant lamp.

“The tent-like shape resembles a mountain. When the snow falls, the triangle becomes embedded in the landscape,” Tham says.

The 1968 house’s shape—a rounded triangle topped with a sweeping concrete roofline that suggests a helmet as it rises above huge banks of windows—lends itself totally to Kukkapuro’s philosophy. “It is a structure in waiting, prone to change as the landscape around it—not yet a form, rather a possibility,” he says. “It changes in harmony with the seasons and the moods of its inhabitants.”

The north-facing rear yard is located on the lower ground floor, and its uniquely challenging shape lead to this project being referred to as the Triangle.

Upside-down triangles appear throughout the hotel. These symbols of feminine power and strength are featured in the original YWCA logo.

The view back into the kitchen frames the inset wood shelves, and allows one component of the work triangle, the stove, to stay tucked out of sight.

Zee and Gong made the triangle shelf for West Coast Craft; afterwards it made its way Zee's kitchen.

The volume containing the master bedroom borrows its distinctive geometry, a series of interlocking triangles, from Shinohara’s Prism House, giving it a largely open interior.

Guests at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort can choose to add on an overnight stay in one of its transparent, en-suite jungle bubbles.

"At 7:30 a.m. exactly, in August, when I have to get the kids to breakfast for camp, the red triangle will be right at the bathtub," says Edwards Anker. "In the winter, the yellow triangle that is not visible in summer, will actually project onto the back wall of the kitchen, along with the play of the reflecting water, while I'm making coffee, or for brunch, at 9:30 a.m. I can know what time it is by just looking at the wall."

In the primary bath, which includes the home’s only indoor shower, Lachapelle used plumbing fixtures and hardware with an oil-rubbed bronze finish that relate to the touches of black in the living space. The wood dowel and leather triangle towel holders are from Schoolhouse.
