The designers handmade the custom table with meticulous attention to detail. After intentionally matching wood grains to ensure a smooth transition between pieces, the table was fitted into the kitchen island to transition the kitchen into the living area. The dining chairs and lounger are Eames for Herman Miller.

The dining area boasts a handmade pendant by The Light Factory in Baltimore, Maryland. The table is from Blu Dot; the chairs are from Ikea. The flooring is natural bamboo from Dyerich.

They wanted to encourage productivity and the continuation of arts and crafts. They never really sold a lot of the work, and every time we hang out with them, they’ve found a few more amazing things they’re willing to let go of. The basket is made of bailing wire, a thick wire used for fencing. It’s not very easy to work with, so it’s impressive they bent the wire by hand.”
