J.B. Blunk’s first real masterpiece was his own home he built in Inverness, California. He hand-carved intricate details throughout the home, where it fit harmoniously with its natural surroundings. We learned that he would often find a tree he admired in his backyard and turn it into a sculpture without removing it from the ground. Shown here is his sink he carved by hand with a chainsaw and chisel, his chosen tools of the trade. Photo by Kodiak Greenwood, courtesy of Reform Gallery.
