At Erik Rydingsvärd’s renovated triplex, Rose Maura Lorre became enamored with the outdoor entertaining space and a rooftop sauna. “The way they were executed—especially the sauna oriented to face Mount Royal—was fantastic,” she says. The Parisian flat that American-born architect Michael Herrman shares with his wife, Cécile, and their 2-year-old daughter, Rose, had been nearly untouched since the 1790s, when it was built. “But I wanted to try and reveal some of its age in a fresh new context,” Herrman said.

The basic set of Food Huggers comes in four different sizes to fit an array of fruits and vegetables. The flexibility of the silicone allows a snug fit, and each one can accomodate a range of cut produce. The Huggers will be available in four colorways: Fresh Greens, Autumn Harvest, Bright Berry, and Juicy Citrus.

Danish designer Søren Rose is known for his modern take on a classic material: marble. And though this particular dining table is made from wood, Rose reclaimed the planks from none other than a marble factory. The multi-colored blocks in the surface are Corian, used to fill in gas and imperfections in the tabletop.

Considering the quality of sofas, the designers sought to bring that same comfort to the floor with a quilted technique.
