Launched by Visit Sweden, the cabins and the stress study could be easily written off as a tourism board gimmick—but they shouldn’t. The tiny glass cabins tap into a growing need to disconnect from a tech-driven world. To give the structures a true sense of place, the cabins were built of locally-sourced materials and designed by Jeanna Berger, daughter of the owners of Henriksholm, a privately-owned, three-mile-long island in western Sweden.

Graphic and pastel textiles adorn a collection of modern chairs and sofas in the downstairs sitting room. Warm-gray floorboards extend throughout the whole lower level for a fresh, modern look.

The Miele Range has three main components: an M Touch convection oven with a deep cavity for cooking large dishes, a smaller M Touch speed oven that can be used as a microwave or oven, and a warming drawer. The main oven on the range also gives the option to cook using steam, and a wireless roast probe is included to perfect meat cooking.

HAPPY HOUR TROLLEY Designed by Zürich-based designer Alfredo Häberli, the Happy Hour Trolley is suitable for a wide range of functions— not just to hold your favorite beverage. Its chromed iron structure make it ideally suited for use as a side table in the living room or for additional storage in the bathroom. Tripod wheels make it an adaptable piece for any home.

It's not quite Hemingway's movable feast, but a well-stocked Happy Hour Trolley may come close. Designed by Zürich-based Alfredo Häberli for BD Barcelona Design, its legs are crafted from durable chromed iron.

The Rangetop offers users flexibility through the TrueSimmer function, infrared griddle, grill and much more.

Electric, Gas, Dual-Fuel, and Induction options are available.

Sleek digital controls characterize the Range Series. Miele's MasterChef automatic programs will help users cook a variety of dishes, from meat to bread—there are 15 bread recipes included.

From the Central Pavilion: "40,000 Hours" is the estimated time that took the students to make this selection of models. It is showcased as a tribute to the collective effort at schools of architecture around the world. Same materials, similar dimensions, and anonymous models for the different projects let us take a look at upcoming ideas and tactics of new architects as well as the state of academic practice through diverse institutions. Finally, special mention deserves MVRDV architects alongside The Why Factory with their ‘Freeland’ video-installation. It presents a refreshing idea of urban planning in which government agencies are put aside to make way for the self-organizing ability of individuals, which have a lot of freedom but are also responsible for supplying their own needs and grant certain urban values and community services. Five tiny glass cabins on Sweden’s Henriksholm Island allow travelers to unplug from the noise of their technology-driven lifestyles. The “72 Hour Cabins” are Norwegian spruce structures that offer peace and quiet with minimally furnished yet cozy interiors.

FORMstudio designed an acrylic balustrade that winds up the 1,647-square-foot home's five levels. The flooring throughout is white oak.

This beachfront house on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island, designed by Hulena Architects, can accommodate large family gatherings in its five bedrooms.
