The flooring throughout the interior is maple. A vintage Ercol sofa and arm chair, Eclipse coffee table by Stua, Wide Wale rug by Bev Hisey Textile Design, and Moon floor lamp by Estiluz Spain furnish the living room. "Extensive planning went into ‘aging in place’ forecasting a host of different scenarios about what that meant physically and psychologically," architect Alex Tedesco says. "We did ‘day in the life’ modeling to understand all the various barrier free requirements that might arise."
"Eclipse is a nesting table set that is an example of how we like our products to be playful. Each user can make the layout he wants."

The Eclipse table is a side table with a subtle defining feature. The inset wooden top can be rotated 180 degrees to create a large surface, exposing a tray-like recess. When kept in its most compact form, the table rests neatly against a wall, creating a reduced foot-print. The Eclipse table can be used in both bed-side and living room areas, an incredibly useful as well as beautiful piece of furniture. The Eclipse table is available in a range of colours, with either Ash or Oak tops.

Eclipse founder Justin Draplin explains his scheme for the 399-square-foot dwellings that include sustainable features such as solar power, in addition to spacious and flexible interiors.
The Eclipse is mounted on a clear foot that houses a black power cord, which adds to the appearance that it is floating.
The Bromic Eclipse collection can be installed as hanging heaters, or on a sleek post for a standing-heater look.

Custom artwork inspired by lunar eclipse. Banquette wraps softly along the walls following the organic architecture of the space.
In the Dutch pavilion, moving curtains stop at 90 second-intervals, creating alignments between the fabric, like this eclipse.
Both the Eclipse and Silhouette lamp models produce light with low-energy LED bulbs embedded in the lower half of the lampshade.
When Rob and Mary Lubera started pulling threads to uncover the origins of their new home—the lone midcentury house amid rows of Tudor Revivals in suburban Detroit—not even architecture scholars could have anticipated what they would find. Theirs is the last surviving residence by Alexander Girard (1907–1993), a modernist visionary who made his name in textiles but tried his hand at virtually everything, architecture included. The shoji-like laminate screens, seen in the entryway, are characteristic of his Japanese-influenced work.
