SCP's offices are just above and they were setting up for a party later that night. Here's a look at an entire corner of Wilson's cute goods.

Henry Pouffe in Treecloud Blue, SCP, $336

Alissa Parker-Walker: "As temperatures start dropping in the North East, I’ve really been into cozy textiles. This pouffe from Donna Wilson for SCP fits the bill. The Treecloud is knitted in Scotland from 100% lambs wool using a traditional Fair Isle knitting technique. If you look closely you will be able to make out the tiny clouds and trees that make up the pattern."

Maison brings out the conflicted sides of my aesthetic: do I prefer warm and handmade or clean-lined and industrial? Luckily, one can choose both. At left, SCP's new chubby wool rugs by Donna Wilson and at right, the booth of &Tradition, a three-year-old company producing the first editions by young designers. (They've even got the first lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen when he was a student!)
