Teixidors's blankets were among our favorite pieces at ICFF. Their texture looks coarse, but they're extremely soft. Best Textiles went to the Spanish company.

Cristian Zuzunaga at Triitme! Showcase Online store and magazine Triitme! will be promoting work from emerging European designers such as London-based Cristian Zuzunaga, whose patterned rugs are an explosion of 8-bit color.

Christian Zuzunaga has taken his exquisite pixelated color field patterns from upholstery and fabric into carpets and now scarves, blankets. In the midst of his display, a craftsman worked a pedal loom showing how Zuzunaga’s colorful pieces are woven.

Sitting on the Recycled Blanket Rug by Tejo Remy and Rene VeenHuizen, Chris digs through his records looking for something to play on the new Brionvega RR226 by Achille Castiglioni.

Building off of centuries-old local techniques, Røros Tweed’s blankets are crafted from 100-percent Norwegian wool with collaboration from other Scandinavian designers and textile artists. Designed by Anderssen & Voll, the Åre Throw is woven in a neutral winter white that will complement existing interiors.

insidenorway's prototype exhibition at ICFF, called New Norwegian Design: Plain and Simple, was curated by Paul Makovsky of Metropolis. One of the neatest pieces (among many) was a Røros Tweed blanket designed by architecture firm Snøhetta (shown at right), which folds into a shape that perfectly emulates the practice's logo.
