Three rings embedded with LED lights illuminate the cabin; users can choose which color light they prefer.

This VIP interior for the AW169 helicopter can accommodate up to five passengers in cocoon-like leather seats. The cabin is done up in a neutral palette, placing emphasis on the passing scenery.

The seats are pivot-mounted, so passergers can turn to face each other in conversation. Each seat contains outlets for charging devices.

Lung Hagem Arkitekter said: "The roof is executed in 270mm thick reinforced concrete with 20mm VIP insulation underneath. The concrete itself is water resistant, thus no additional roofing materials are required. As a result, the roof is a smooth white surface creating a dialogue with the rocky landscape, and giving the cabin its distinctive character."

Hong Kong’s Kinney Chan designed his first U.S. project, Infusion Lounge, to be “outrageous and really, really cool with an infusion of Oriental style.” The space features not only a full and an elevated VIP area, but also highlights a programmable LED lighting system that illuminates etched-glass columns based on Chinese architecture.

RETREAT integrates low-tech components widely available today into a factory-assembled enclosure that uses the passive design approach of super-insulation, air tightness, thermal bridge-free details, compact form, winter passive solar, and summer shading to achieve deep energy reductions. R-values range from 32 at the glass walls and roof to 87 at the floor. The materials have very high insulation value with minimum thickness: Triple-pane insulated glass units; Aerogel Thermal Wrap at shades; VIPs (vacuum insulated panels) at floor and walls.
